..in 2007, I dusted off a 1956 YashicaFlex that had been on a shelf for years, inspired to toss a roll of film through. The results were so sharp, so full of character that I used it that weekend at a wedding shoot.

My work has done nothing but improve - be it digital or with my film cameras - thanks in part to the steps one is forced to follow when working with a camera that is was in use 15 years before I was born.

Whenever I'm able to use my YashicaFlex (or YashicaMat, or one of my Rolleicords: my shelves creak under the weight of the options laid out before me!), I can be assured that the results will be ever surprising, ever impressive.
